The hike will be led by Dr. James Nardi at Atherton Island Natural Area (AINA) at 1:00 pm.  Terrain is moderate to sometimes rugged, therefore appropriate hiking apparel is recommended.

AINA is located at 7295 S US Highway 41, Rosedale.  From Terre Haute, take Hwy 41 North to the Lyford Y (east of Clinton). Turn onto the first gravel lane north of the Y, which is on the right (east) side of the road.  There will be a temporary "yard sign" near the entrance.   Take the gravel road up the hill and all the way back to the Quonset Hut to park.  Due to limited parking, please car pool and RSVP Evan Boyer at e.boyer13@yahoo.com to make reservations.
