🪶 About Our Speaker: Dee Reed

Dee Reed is a Terre Haute-based leader in strategic communications, cultural inclusion, and heritage preservation. As a descendant of the historic Lost Creek Settlement, Reed brings a personal connection to the region's Black-settlement history and has written and spoken extensively on that heritage. Her role as the keynote speaker at the 2026 Annual Celebration underscores the opening of the Bushnell’s North Star Woods property, which blends land conservation with cultural memory and community legacy.

🌱 Double your Impact

Your support goes even further this year

In 2026, we are taking an important next step: building the capacity to hire OLC’s first part-time staff member. Thanks to a $25,000 challenge grant from the Namaste Foundation, every contribution toward this effort — including sponsorships — will be matched dollar for dollar throughout 2026!

Your participation in our 16th Annual Celebration helps power this historic milestone.

🌻 Why It Matters

Every ticket, every bid, every guest helps protect and restore the lands and waters that define our region — the forests, prairies, and waterways that connect us all.

Come celebrate, connect, and invest in the future of our home landscape.
