The Ouabache Land Conservancy invites all nature enthusiasts to a spring wildflower hike of the Atherton Island Natural Area near Lyford in Parke County on Saturday, April 23 at 3:30 pm. The hike will be led by University of Illinois Research Scientist Dr. James Nardi. The terrain is moderate to sometimes rugged, therefore appropriate hiking apparel is recommended. This is a free program, however, due to limited parking, contact OLC via email at phil@ouabachelandconservancy.org to make reservations and get directions to which entrance will be used.
